Another tip for those who mix often: Syrup lasts for a very long time due to the sugar content, even a few weeks to months when refrigerated. You can also simply double the ingredients and use the syrup for numerous cocktails. And if you don't want it to be alcoholic, simply add a shot of syrup to a glass of soda water and you have a delicious lemonade.
