From the beginnings to today
The story the tour tells
- 2007
Over a few gin and tonics, Max and Daniel decide: Munich needs a gin of its own. The name comes quickly: THE DUKE, a tribute to Henry the Lion.
- 2008
First steps in a Munich backyard: botanicals, a small copper still called Carl and lots of experimenting. The result is the first gin of our own, the Munich Dry Gin.
- 2016
Move into the historic brick building in Aschheim, a former potato distillery from the 19th century: room for real production.
- Today
The glass distillery: visitors watch every step of the distillation live.
