THE DUKE – FC Bayern München Edition

THE DUKE – FC Bayern Munich Edition

With Liberalitas Bavarica, THE DUKE distillery is presenting its fourth gin creation - as a new addition in collaboration with the German record champions FC Bayern Munich. The selection of 12 botanicals refreshes the classic gin landscape with a bit of innovation and focuses on fruity hop notes. Liberalitas Bavarica stands for a cosmopolitan, sociable, Bavarian self-image and proudly points to its origins in red and white on the bottle, from Holledauer hops to the Allianz Arena. The new edition is now playing in a league of its own and is available here in a limited edition from November 4th, 2020 online shop and directly in the distillery, as well as in FCB online store, available in FCB fan shops and in stores at an RRP of €34.90 per 0.7 l bottle.

For this Liberalitas Bavarica Gin, two Bavarian originals have come together and created a new gin for all lovers of cultivated drink culture and fans of FC Bayern Munich.

As usual with THE DUKE, plenty of time, love and juniper berries go into the FC Bayern Edition. The gin is made in a copper kettle according to old traditions. 12 herbs and spices are used in Liberalitas Bavarica Gin - 11 in the basic lineup, plus hops from Holledau as the central flavor note and distributor of fruity and slightly tart nuances.

In this collaboration, the record champions FC Bayern Munich and the German gin pioneer THE DUKE pay tribute to their hometown of Munich and the Bavarian lifestyle. Liberalitas Bavarica is the fluid manifesto of Bavaria's self-image with a liberal and native tradition. The Bavarians are always about conviviality, celebrating together, enjoyment and their world-famous beer.

The connection between the Munich distillery, which was named after the city's founder, Duke Henry the Lion, and FC Bayern Munich is reflected in the design. In the club colors of FC Bayern Munich, the design in red and white draws a line from the Holledau to the Allianz Arena, from the drum of the south curve to the hops and from St. Mary's Church to the collective celebration of great successes. It's about cheering together as well as the beautiful moments of toasting. The design emblazoned on the matching clay jug also bears witness to this. The perfect one-two!

We are ready for the big celebrations and also have the right recipe:
