Melon Rosemary Gin Collins

Ingredients

5cl THE DUKE Munich Dry Gin

3 cl lemon juice

2 cl rosemary syrup*

55g melon

Soda water

preparation

Place melon pieces and rosemary syrup in a shaker and muddle with a muddler. Add ice, gin and lemon juice and stir with a bar spoon. Strain the drink into a glass filled with ice, top with soda and garnish with melon balls and a sprig of rosemary.

*Production of rosemary syrup

3 sprigs of fresh rosemary

100g sugar

100 ml water

Heat sugar, water and a sprig of rosemary in a non-stick pan until the sugar dissolves completely while stirring. Then let it simmer over low heat for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the rosemary sprig and let the syrup cool.

Only 2 cl of syrup is needed per drink. Simply fill the remaining syrup into a sealable bottle, store it refrigerated and use it for the next drinks.
