Lavender Gin Collins


5cl THE DUKE Munich Dry Gin

3 cl lemon juice

2 cl lavender syrup*

Soda water


Strain all ingredients except soda into an ice-filled glass and stir with a bar spoon. Top with soda and garnish with a lemon wedge and a sprig of lavender.

*Production of lavender syrup:

6g dried lavender

100 ml water

100g sugar

Heat lavender and water in a non-stick pan until the water boils. Then turn down the heat and let it steep for about 3 minutes. Then remove from the heat and let it steep for another 20 minutes. Filter out lavender flowers. In the second step, add sugar and stir to combine under low heat. Finally let the syrup cool down.

Only 2 cl of syrup is needed per drink. Simply fill the remaining syrup into a sealable bottle, store it refrigerated and use it for the next drinks.
