Hot virgin
The Hot virgin is a drink made with THE DUKE ENTGEISTERT, cranberry juice and lime juice, served in a mug. This is the more demanding kind: one ingredient has to be made first, so allow eight minutes or more.

Ingredients
- 5 cl THE DUKE ENTGEISTERT (Alcohol-free)
- 8 cl cranberry juice
- 1 cl lime juice
- 1 cl cinnamon syrup*
- 1 cinnamon stick
- Pear slices (optional)
Preparation
Heat THE DUKE Entgeistert slowly (do not boil) with cranberry juice, lime juice, and cinnamon syrup. Pour hot into a mug, garnish with a cinnamon stick and pear slices, if desired.
*Cinnamon syrup is available commercially from brands such as Monin and Giffard. However, you can also make it yourself relatively easily – heat 1 liter of water, 1 kg of sugar, and 300 g of cinnamon in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil briefly, then let it steep for 10 minutes – and you’re done!
