Apple Moscow Mule
The Apple Moscow Mule is a long drink from the mule family made with LION's Vodka, apple juice and THE DUKE Ginger Beer, shaken over ice. You will need a shaker and a strainer; allow about five minutes.

Ingredients
- 5cl LION's Vodka
- 3 cl apple juice, naturally cloudy
- THE DUKE Ginger Beer
- Fresh rosemary
Preparation
Place the needles from a small sprig of rosemary in a shaker with the vodka and muddle the rosemary with a pestle. Add the apple juice and shake vigorously with ice. Then double strain into a long drink glass filled with ice, top with ginger beer and garnish with an apple slice and a sprig of rosemary.
Tips
- Double strain through an extra fine sieve: herb fragments, fruit pulp and ice shards stay in the shaker.
- Press the herbs and fruit, do not grind them: crushed leaves release bitter notes.
- Add the filler last and stir once at most, so the carbonation stays in the glass.
- Shake hard until the shaker frosts on the outside, roughly ten to fifteen seconds.
