THE DUKE distillery started with Max & Daniel's Ginger Liqueur in 2010. The number of lovers of the hand-filled and labeled “niche product” alongside the well-known Munich Dry Gin grew steadily and we are all the more pleased to have the tried and tested product Ginger liqueur in a new “guise”, now able to present two more organic liqueurs from the distillery: a herbal liqueur and a sloe liqueur. By the way, our new liqueur trio is called FUCHSDEIFESWUID.
As we all know, good things take time and we are pleased to be able to supplement our ginger liqueur with two more organic liqueurs after a long development phase. On the one hand, we took on the local blackthorn, which blooms wonderfully white in spring, but whose fruits are only harvested late in the year - after the first frost at the earliest. The unmistakable, sweet-bitter taste of the sloes was worth all the development work and we are proud to have refined the dark blue fruits into this fine FUCHS DEIFESWUID sloe liqueur .
For the second new creation, our distillers harmonized over 30 different herbs. All – as usual – from purely organic farming. The spicy, bitter, sweet and hot flavors are balanced and natural in our new organic FUCHS DEIFES WUID herbal liqueur . A balance of macerates and distillates harmoniously combine ingredients such as gentian root, bitter orange or violet root with the remaining botanicals at 35% vol.
We have retained the tried and tested recipe of “Max and Daniel's Ginger Liqueur” in our FUCHSDEIFES WUID and have simply adapted the design of the organic ginger liqueur to our liqueur range.

It comes in the uniform “guise” of stylishly curved 0.5l bottles, our FABULOUS liqueur series FUCHSDEIFESWUID . Many Bavarian myths, sagas and legends revolve around mysterious creatures that have influenced the names and design of the liqueurs. The production of these is also traditional and so they are lovingly handcrafted from the best organic ingredients in our distillery in Munich.

Numerous legends tell of the mysterious Wolpertinger, which hardly anyone has ever seen. While we are still on the lookout for that shy mythical creature, we have come across another peculiarity of the Bavarian forests, the wonderful blackthorn.

The devilish fellows have a long tradition in the customs of our beautiful Alpine foothills. According to old folk belief, the Perchten kingdom is open during the rough nights. The ghosts are supposed to find appeasement through food and drink placed in front of the door. With our herbal liqueur we oppose the evil spirits - so that they stay away from us.
FuchsDeifesWUID – organic ginger liqueur
The terrible Tatzelwurm has always been up to mischief in the remote Bavarian forests. Its wild, unruly nature is similar to the ginger bulb, which, in contrast to the Tatzelwurm, we are able to tame in the most pleasant way.
