Lion’s Homemade Gimlet
Mix both ingredients in a mixing glass on ice for one minute, strain into a pre-cooled cocktail glass, sprinkle with lime zest and serve.
*Preparation of the Cordial:
Put 100g of lime zests with 1000g of sugar in a vacuum pack and leave to stand for 10 hours in the refrigerator. Dissolve the resulting oleo saccharum in water, sieve out the zests and then bring to the boil. Leave to cool and bottle.
